About Mary
What does Mary do?
Mary sorts every document in a matter into a named, dated set and turns it into facts tied to the page they came from. It flags what conflicts and what's missing, and builds chronologies, drafts and tables from the facts your team has checked.
Why add Mary to Claude, Harvey or my AI tool?
Those tools answer from what you paste into them. Mary keeps the matter’s whole factual record — every document split and named, every fact tied to its page, every conflict and gap — and serves that record to them, so the answer is grounded in the matter rather than the prompt.
Which matters is it built for?
Document-heavy litigation and disputes, including commercial litigation and family law.
Does it replace legal judgment?
No. Mary flags. Your team decides. Only people can mark a fact verified, and every change is recorded.
How does it work with our AI tools?
Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot or your own AI through MCP. They can read your matters, facts, review flags and audit trail, and ask Mary questions. They can't edit entries or mark anything verified.
How is data protected?
Mary is ISO 27001 certified, and customer content is never used to train AI models. The Trust center covers controls and data handling.
How is it priced?
By pages processed. One credit is one page, pooled across your firm. You can start free with 100 pages, and plans scale with volume.
Pricing
How does rollover work?
Paid plans bank unused pages up to three times the plan’s monthly allowance. There’s no rollover on Free.
What happens if I reach my limit?
On a paid plan, extra pages are charged at your plan’s page rate, with an administrative cap. On Free, you’re prompted to upgrade to keep going once you reach the limit.
How is a yearly pool different from monthly rollover?
Monthly plans bank unused pages up to three times the plan’s monthly allowance. A yearly plan makes the whole allowance available from day one, so a large matter early in the year isn’t held back by a monthly ceiling.
Do in-app questions and drafts use pages?
No. One credit is one page processed. Questions, chronologies, analyzes and drafts are unlimited.
Integrations
Will a connected AI change the facts in Mary?
No, it can’t edit entries or mark anything verified. That stays with your team in Mary. Your connected AI can start new work, such as a chronology or a draft, which is saved to the matter.
What does the AI provider see?
A connected AI reads only the matters the signed-in lawyer can see, in your firm’s data region. It can read facts, sources, flags and review history, and ask Mary to start new work.
Can we connect our own applications?
Yes. Point any MCP client at Mary for witness prep, investigations or internal tools, with the same permissions as the signed-in lawyer.
Commercial litigation
Does a contradiction mean the witness lied?
No. It means two sources disagree. Context and other explanations matter, and your team decides what to put to the witness.
Can Mary handle deposition transcripts and exhibits?
Yes. Transcripts are lined up against the documents around them, with each account cited to its volume, page and line, and every exhibit cited to its page.
Does it work with our document management system?
iManage is live, and PMS/DMS integrations are included on every plan.
Is client data used to train AI?
No. Documents, matter content, prompts and outputs are never used to train models.
